Fabrice Nelson has over 30 years of experience as a Crime Scene Investigator with the City of Miami Police Department located in South Florida. During his tenure there he was the lead CSI on many homicide investigations, Police Involved Shootings, Robberies, Sexual Battery Crimes, Burglaries, Domestic Violence and Traffic Homicide cases.

 

 In 2014, he was promoted to the position of Crime Scene Supervisor where he supervised five CSI’S assigned to his shift. He also reviewed their work productivity and responded to major crime scenes with them to act as a liaison between Detectives and CSI’S

 

Fabrice field experience and training is a huge asset to analyze any Crime Scene case-files and/to answer any technical questions pertaining to a Crime Scene Investigation. He has attended numerous training seminars in: 

 

• Crime Scene Investigations I, II, III

• Crime Scene Photography, 

• Digital Crime Scene Photography, 

• Latent Print Processing using various powders and chemicals

• Report Writing

He has trained newly hired Crime Scene Investigators and Detectives on the procedures of Crime Scene Investigation. He also appears in six episodes of the made for documentary, “First 48”.

 

As a Crime Scene Investigator, he was subpoenaed by Defense Attorneys to give deposition on cases he has personally investigated. He also gave testimony as an expert witness in both State Court and Federal Court levels.

  

With that said, Fabrice has the perfect knowledge on how facts have to be presented.  

 

He is also the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of CSI-Expertise, and as such, is responsible for technical product development and services solutions for the Company’s Crime Scene Investigation & Digital Forensic products and services (CSI) division.   This includes CTO developing Digital Forensic Kits and designing training class curriculum’s, topics and class CSI instruction content for IT Examiner training classes. 

 

Fabrice Nelson is also CSI-Expertise’s Premier instructor of Forensic Examiner advanced training and certification classes.

He is also a Certified Part 107 drone pilot for a small UAV’S.
